Transferring an existing Toll-Free number into VISICOM
Most U.S. Toll Free Numbers (TFN) can be ported into VISICOM. The transfer process can take up to 30 business days to complete. So long as your account remains active at your existing TFN carrier while the request is processed, it is unlikely that you will experience any downtime. Nevertheless, while we never anticipate any problems, it is possible that your toll free number may be unavailable for a short period of time during the final stages of the transfer. The toll free number you transferred in can also be transferred out if you wish.
To transfer (port in) your Toll Free number to VISICOM, prepare the following three documents and fax them to (800) 365-1910:
- A Fax Cover page including your Full Name, Contact Telephone Number, Email Address, Existing Toll Free Number and, if available, your current (temporary) VISICOM number.
- A completed and signed, single page TFN Letter of Authorization (LOA) form.
- A copy of your most recent bill listing your toll free number. If you are switching from another Enhanced Services Provider, please print the web page(s) listing your recent current charges, the bill-to information (name, billing address, etc) AND the toll free number(s).
Download the attached PDF document to obtain further instructions and the TFN Letter of Authorization (LOA) form.
